I’m Eleni, and as the name suggests, I am Mediterranean, a mix of Greek and Italian, and both cultures have greatly influenced who I am. My grandparents and mother raised me, and food played a large part in my upbringing and life.

My food philosophy developed from a young age as I eagerly watched my Nonno ferment vegetables in his shed, a natural probiotic in itself, and saw my family growing their food in a garden that was filled with organic produce and poultry. A fond memory of my childhood was tomato day, known as “salsa” day, where we would make a fresh organic sauce and store it in bottles.

Naturally, my upbringing has made me passionate about the human body and health as a whole. I thrive on learning and educating individuals about their health and the need to pursue their journey through food, movement, lifestyle, and detoxification as medicine.

I trained in both the machine facilitated and Woods Gravity methods and became a qualified Colon Hydrotherapist in the Wood’s Gravity System.

The Wood’s Gravity System ensures a natural peristaltic motion of the colon. My experience as a Wood’s Gravity Colon Therapist has shed light on the profound importance of the detoxification process, as the Wood’s Gravity Method is one of the most beneficial ways to remove toxic matter from the colon while nourishing the muscles at the same time. When detoxification is supported with food, movement, and lifestyle as medicine, health, and wellness occur in abundance.

My lifestyle and nutritional philosophies are grounded in holism.

Holism comes from the Ancient Greek word,  ‘ὅλος’ (hólos), which interprets to “all, whole, & entire”. “Ism” stems from the concept that various systems, such as our physical, emotional, biological, social, and spiritual, should be viewed as wholes, rather than as a collection of parts. Once we consider our body as one whole that interconnects, we can heal holistically.

For this reason, I actively engage and advocate for:

Cooking organic and pasture-raised, regenerative, and wild produce.

Moving the body in a matter that serves an individual's constitution. For me, movement is pilates, yoga, walking, running, strength, and endurance training.

Embracing the mind as another organ and system that requires exercise. I regularly engage in meditation, breath work, journaling, and mindfulness to calm my nervous system.

Looking after the body as it is a delicate ecosystem that needs love and attention daily through the above practices.
