Please cease foods at least 2 hours before a colonic, and liquids at least 1 hour before a colonic.
If you are a new client to Flow Colonics, please arrive 15 minutes prior as you are required to fill in your New Client Intake and Waiver Form. You can download the forms, here, fill them in before your consultation, and bring them with you if you like.
After this process, your Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will consult with you and guide you into the treatment room. Here, the colonic will be explained to you and you will gain a thorough understanding of how the treatment works.
Your Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will now leave the room for you to remove your clothing from the waist down and lie on the treatment bed. Please do not be alarmed, as you will be provided with a disposable towel that you can use to cover yourself.
Once you are ready, your Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will begin your colonic. Your Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will always ensure hygiene is paramount. This means they will be wearing sanitary clothing (scrubs), disposable medical-grade gloves, and an apron.
Once you are comfortable, a speculum is lubricated and gently inserted into the rectum. Please do not be alarmed as this does not, and will not hurt, although there may be a slight discomfort regarding the process. Flow-Colonics and Wellbeing equipment is TGA approved and disposed of according to NSW HEALTH REQUIREMENTS.
Once the speculum is inserted, a tube is connected, and water releases into the rectum.
Your Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will ensure a muscular contraction of the colon begins and a gentle massage of the abdominal area to stimulate the colonic further. Your industry-qualified Flow Colonics and Wellbeing therapist will be present the entire process. You are welcome to ask any questions during your colonic and discuss health and wellbeing.

A colonic is a naturally occurring therapy that releases the bowels through peristalsis. Laxatives are artificial and usually filled with sugar. Laxatives worsen gut dysbiosis, which is the root cause of constipation, and the reason why people turn to laxatives, to begin with. It is imperative to work with your Flow Colonics Wellbeing Therapist and the plan they put in place for you to improve your gut health.
